4 Aesthetically Pleasing Youngstown Restaurants

Have you ever wandered into a restaurant and thought the theming could be a bit better? I have, and let me tell you, the theming sets the mood for the experience you will be having when sitting down to eat a delicious meal. There are 1950's diners, restaurants themed after pirates, cafes providing a trip to the old country, and more. Youngstown is home to a few restaurants that aren't so bad on the eye, and I'm going to tell you the 4 that are worth visiting.

1. The Kitchen Post

Located in downtown Youngstown, the Kitchen Post sits underneath Erie Terminal Place Apartments, and provides a unique experience like no other. With the restaurant's pink and white walls, lively plants, hanging light fixtures, unique seating, and a kitchen right where the customer can see the food cooking, you won't be disappointed with the vibe it gives off.

I mean, just look at this amazing David Bowie painting - you can't go wrong with a legend. Make sure you take a worthy Instagram picture when you're at the Kitchen Post because the atmosphere is too artsy and beautiful to not take advantage of.

2. Suzie's Dogs and Drafts

Let's forget about the delicious hot dogs for a quick moment, and think about the atmosphere we put ourselves into when visiting this particular restaurant. Live music, games, chalkboard walls, and a bar. This all sounds fun, doesn't it? The answer is yes. When visiting Suzie's, you aren't just visiting a normal old hot dog chain. You're visiting a place with character, a place with a vibe that is adventurous. Each time you visit, the wall may say something different due to the style of a chalkboard. What's more cool than that? The way the lighting is set up against the brick walls, making you feel like you're in a back alley. This dining experience allows you to forget your worries while you rock out to live music and rock your stomach while eating the best hot dogs there are.

3. Bistro 1907 by Mark Canzonetta

Classy, elegant, and minimal. This is what Bistro 1907 provides as soon as you walk in. Large windows that look into the downtown square, and a black and white tile floor that gives off an enchanting vibe. When dining at this location, you will feel as if you are a sophisticated businessman or woman without needing to dress like one. This is another location you will need to take advantage of for the perfect photo for all of your friends and family to see, and to get that perfect candid food photo.

4. One Hot Cookie

Cookies and dogs - what could be better than that? The answer is nothing. Located right beside the Kitchen Post is One Hot Cookie; a place where you customize your choice of cookie for a decent price. You might be thinking, "You mentioned dogs. Why did you mention this, and where can I sign up?" Well, the answer is this: Kate Middletown the pug and her best friend Remington the Labrador (the two mascots for One Hot Cookie). These two dogs are what people first think of when they hear the name of this cute, pink cookie chain. While the building itself is a small space, you are trapped with an aroma of sweet smells and posters of dogs. We can definitely say this is a happy environment, and you won't ever be upset when visiting One Hot Cookie.
