This restaurant will have you believing in magic!
Do you believe in magic? Well the people down at the Magic Tree Pub & Eatery sure do! Join me as I dive on in this local Youngstown pub that will have you clicking your heels calling it home. As always if you missed my last post last week you can catch it here. Enjoy!
Atmosphere:
Walking into Magic Tree you will be greeted by friendly staff who will show you to a booth or one of there custom tabletops made out of vintage barrels. If those options are not enough to satisfy you can always sit at the bar or out on the patio. Magic Tree does a magical job in combining the feel of a sports bar with the hip vibe of an artsy bar. Looking around the restaurant you can find just about any sport that tickles your fancy on one of the many televisions posted around. On some nights they have music trivia which I personally tested out and will have you know I held my own. Some nights they have bands come in and play live music which in itself is a treat. On the other side of the restaurant they have a small private room for events and will often have wine tastings in there.
So take a seat, enjoy the sights and lets place an order!
Food:
Now when I hear the term "bar food" the first thing that pops in my mind is the appetizers. The finger food of any restaurant can be a good indication of what you can expect for your main course. One of my all time favorite appetizers is fried pickles, when a place has good pickles I am telling you it is going to be a good meal. Magic Tree's friend pickles are bar far some of the best in town, very crispy and not greasy. Now on to the part you have all been waiting for, the main course. My favorite food on the planet has to be a burger, and when I tell you that Magic Tree is the place to go for a good burger you will have to take it to heart. Now if I told you they had a soft pretzel the size of your head you'd probably laugh, but here is some proof to the right! See you have to learn to trust me, I'll lead you to the good food! Now if none of that has tickled your fancy the salads there are epic.
